SOLICITATION
The U.S. Embassy Mexico City has a requirement for an AWD Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) with 8 speed automatic transmissions, with service maintenance and warranty valid in Mexico City, Mexico.
The estimated delivery schedule for this requirement is 45 days once awarded.
Delivery of vehicle shall be in Mexico City.
The selected offeror will be fully responsible for providing the full technical specifications for the vehicle as described in the Request For Quotation (RFQ) document, that will be published on SAM.gov; including obtaining any local government permits and licenses if needed (including import), taking into consideration quality standards that will be mentioned in the RFQ document. Offerors will be responsible for presenting an offer that considers elements listed below, and, if a discrepancy is identified, the offeror will be responsible to flag it on in the quotation.
The offeror shall provide complete information of the item being quoted in conformance with the requirements stated in the RFQ, such as descriptive literature, manuals, maintenance procedures, technical datasheets, as applicable. Items shall comply with the minimum quality standards of the industry and any other quality and warranty standards that will be stated in the RFQ document.
All offerors that respond to the solicitation must be technically qualified and financially responsible to perform the work. At a minimum, each offeror must meet the following requirements when submitting their quotation:
The offeror shall provide:
- Be able to understand written and spoken English and Spanish.
- Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing.
- Have the necessary personnel, equipment and financial resources available to fulfill the requirement.
- Have all licenses and permits required by local law.
- Meet all local insurance requirements.
- Have the ability to obtain a performance and guarantee bond and a payment bond, or to post adequate performance security, such as irrevocable letters of credit or guarantees issued by a reputable financial institution.
- Have no adverse criminal record.
- Have no political or business affiliation which could be considered contrary to the interests of the United States.
- Have good experience and past performance records.
- Identify specialized experience and technical competence required to fulfill the requirement in accordance with this request.
- Past performance in selling vehicles, and vehicle seller client portfolio.
