Metropolitan Planning Organization - General Planning Services

As requested by the Collier County Metropolitan Organization (hereinafter, the “MPO”), the Collier County Board of County Commissioners Procurement Services Division (hereinafter, “County”) has issued this Request for Professional Services (hereinafter, “RPS”) with the intent of obtaining proposals from interested and qualified Consultants in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications stated or attached. The Consultants, at a minimum, must achieve the requirements of the Specifications or Scope of Work stated.

The purpose of this solicitation is to acquire multiple qualified firms to provide as-needed Metropolitan Planning Organization General Planning Services. Historically, the MPO has spent approximately $934,404 over the previous 5-year period; however, this may not be indicative of future buying patterns.

The Collier County Board of County Commissioners, in compliance with Florida Statute §287.055, Consultants’ Competitive Negotiation Act, is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced engineering firms to perform continuing professional services, for Metropolitan Planning Organization General Planning Services.

All work awarded under the resultant contract will be for projects, within the thresholds allowable in Florida Statute §287.055, Consultants’ Competitive Negotiation Act, in which the estimated construction cost of each individual project does not exceed $7.5 million, and professional services for each individual project do not exceed $500,000. All work will be performed in accordance with industry standards and will comply with applicable laws and regulations.
