Conduct intercept surveys of Metrobus customers to: (1)Collect jurisdiction of residence data for Metrobus passengers for use in WMATA's regional bus subsidy allocation formula; (2) Collect information on the demographic characteristics and travel patterns of Metrobus riders -- to comply with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Title VI reporting requirements and guidelines; and (3) Obtain information on Metrobus passenger behavioral tendencies and preferences (e.g., fare payment methods, information sources used for travel decisions, etc.) to inform WMATA's efforts to increase ridership and improve the customer experience.
