METER REPLACEMENT PROGRAM - PHASE II

Sealed Bids for the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills Meter Replacement Program - Phase II will be received by the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills at the Municipal Building, 1001 Parsippany Boulevard, Parsippany, New Jersey 07054 on June 26, 2025 at 10:00, prevailing time, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. No Bids will be accepted after said hour.

METER REPLACEMENT PROGRAM - PHASE II

The work will include but is not limited to, the replacement of 5,418 existing interior and exterior water meters of sizes ranging from 5/8 inch (0.625 inch) to 1 ½ inch (1.5 inch) that are to be furnished by the owner. Out of the 5,418 water meters to be replaced, approximately 897 will consist of exterior meter pits. The Contractor will abide by conditions and requirements for the scope of work and all coordination with property owners before and after installation activities. Complementary work to furnish and install accessory materials as may be necessary, are identified as if and where directed bid items. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, supervision, trade skills, materials, and equipment required for this project as described in the Construction Documents. The Contract will allow 360 calendar days for completion of the work from the notice to proceed.
A fee of $75.00 will be required for each set of Bid Documents.
Bid Documents may be obtained from the Purchasing Office at the above location during regular business hours from 9:00am to 4:30pm daily, except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Bid Documents are to include a flash drive to incorporate supplemental meter pit location maps, photos and data documents.
All bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the words “Meter Replacement Program - Phase II”. Bid proposals must be addressed to the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills, 1001 Parsippany Blvd., Parsippany, New Jersey 07054, Attention: Purchasing Agent. Delivery of bids must be in person, by overnight courier, or by mail. No bids will be accepted if they arrive after the date and time specified above.
All bids must be submitted on forms for that purpose to be obtained from the Purchasing Agent.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27, et seq.
The Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills reserves the right to waive informalities in bids and to reject any and all bids, or parts thereof, if deemed in the best interests of the Township to do so.
