Metal Press Brake

Project Description: The Davis Technical College (DAVISTECH) is taking offers for:
(1) Accurl 5 Axis CNC Press Brake Genius Prime 6.5’ x 66 Ton
INTENT: The College is seeking bids for a new metal press brake system that will help meet industry demands by increase the training offerings of the College welding program in the area of CNC fabrication and manufacturing. It is anticipated this machine will serve the College for many years providing students with the necessary skills to meet the local industry needs.
Bidders may propose an alternate that meets or exceeds the specifications and offerings of the requested equipment. The requested equipment is merely to demonstrate the desired features and aspects of the DTC.
If alternative equipment is offered, supplier must provide all specifications, literature, documentation and provide at least three references, including company name, contact, phone and email of current users of the proposed equipment will be deemed non-responsive. Supplier is to clearly state it is an alternate and describe/explain specifically how it differs from the item identified with regard to general specifications found in this solicitation. **FAILURE TO PROVIDE REQUIRED INFORMATION REQUESTED ABOVE AT TIME OF BID SUBMISSION FOR ALTERNATE EQUPMENT WILL RESULT IN BID DISQUALIFICATION.
Proposed alternate equipment that do not meet College needed specifications will be disqualified from consideration. The College, in its sole discretion, will determine a proposed equipment’s ability to meet the College’s needs.
The College reserves the right to reject any offer.
