ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of a driveway, parking area, trail entrance, stone trail, septic system, restroom and associated amenities located along Merwinsburg Road (T-939) on property owned by Chestnuthill Township. Bids will be received online via the PennBid Program, by Chestnuthill Township, until 3 PM local time on June 25, 2025, when Bids will be opened and publicly available on Pennbid.
The Project consists of the clearing and grading of approximately 0.90 acres of land, installing a paved access drive apron, paved ADA parking spaces, gravel access drive and parking area, stormwater management facilities, septic system, ADA restrooms, lighting, seeding, landscaping, and a gravel trails.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held for this project on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 10 AM at the Chestnuthill Township Municipal Building located at 271 Route 715, Brodheadsville, PA 18322 with a site visit to follow.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The following wage rate requirements are applicable to this contract: Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage

Bids will remain subject to acceptance for the period of 90 days, but Owner may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid security prior to the end of this period.
