Cascades Natural Resource District is seeking to hire a contractor to carry out Forest Service Road emergency repairs and maintenance on an as and when requested basis. Maintenance will be in various locations in the Merritt area and travel is usually within 1 to 2 hours of Merritt. The contract offers approximately five (5) days of work, based off of historical averages, and will be completed under an Equipment Rental Agreement at an hourly rate. The Ministry does not guarantee this amount of work.

Due to the nature of the work being on emergency or as and when basis, contractor must be able to respond and have equipment available to complete the required works within 3 days of being contacted by the Ministry Representative.
