REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
Mentoring & Tutoring
Proposals will be received until 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 05,
2026 by the Lorain County Commissioners, Fiscal Department, 226 Middle
Avenue, Fourth Floor, Elyria Ohio 44035 for Mentoring and Tutoring.
The above requested program will target Youth aged 6 - 18 who reside in a
home that is eligible for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
program. Parental Engagement is required to assist the child with successful
math and literacy achievement. Proposals will be opened immediately
following the 2:30 p.m. deadline in the Lorain County Commissioners Fourth
Floor Public Meeting Room A
The bid packets for this program will be available electronically beginning
Wednesday, July 22, 2026 by emailing Jessica Burns at the Lorain County
Fiscal Department @ jburns@loraincounty.us.
Each proposal shall contain the full name or names of persons and company
submitting the RFP and shall be enclosed in an envelope and marked
"Mentoring & Tutoring", the bid opening date and bid opening time.
The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and
to waive any informalities or irregularities if it is deemed in the best interest
of Lorain County to do so. Any interpretation, correction or modifications to
the specifications desired shall be submitted in writing to Carolyn Neal, Fiscal
