Project Description: The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is seeking sealed proposals to establish a contract through a competitive process to allow the Sheriff of the county to select a Secondary Transportations Agent (STA) as authorized under Tennessee Code Annotated (TCA) 33-6-901 for the purposes of transporting persons to mental health treatment resources as authorized under TCA 33-6-406. The STA will assume the same duties and authority under TCA 33-6-901 in the detention and/or transportation as the Sheriff.
