Medical Services for Corrections

The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department is seeking proposals for medical services for individuals detained in the Kenosha County Pretrial Facility (PTF) 927 54th Street, Kenosha, WI 53140, and the Kenosha County Detention Center (KCDC) 4777 88th Avenue, Kenosha, WI 53144.

The goal of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is a contract with an entity to provide comprehensive healthcare and mental health care for adult and youthful inmates.  It is further the goal that the provided health services meet or exceed nationally recognized standards, with deference to the Kenosha Sheriff’s Department and recommended best practices, and are provided by competent State of Wisconsin credentialed healthcare professionals through a program managed by professional healthcare managers/administrators in a manner that ensures cost-effective results.  To this end, the County is seeking proposals from those qualified to provide this specialized healthcare and mental healthcare service for incarcerated persons.
