MEADOWCREEK GOLF COURSE IRRIGATION PUMP/MOTOR ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT (2)

The City of Charlottesville is requesting bids for IFB 27-40 for MEADOWCREEK GOLF COURSE IRRIGATION PUMP/MOTOR ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT (2) .

Project Description:
This work is to remove and replace existing pump/motor assemblies which are part of the Meadowcreek Golf Course irrigation system. This work will be conducted by a General Contractor hired under this IFB and will include planning, procurement of specified materials, receipt of materials, hiring and directing the work including self-performance and of sub-contractors. This project intends to procure the services of a General Contractor to procure and receive Pump/Motor assemblies and to replace the existing units, currently in use, which are nearing the end of their useful life

The pump/motor assemblies, and related components to be replaced, provide high pressure water through an irrigation system which covers the 18-hole golf course at Meadowcreek. The irrigation is new and was installed in 2026. This pump/motor replacement project is to ensure that the irrigation system can remain functional into the future. Without this project to replace the pump/motor assemblies, the course may be at risk irrigation failure and loss of revenue for the City.
