Project Description: The Utah Transit Authority (UTA) is soliciting proposals from qualified entities for the design and construction of the civil and electrical infrastructure, and installation of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE), necessary to deploy Direct Current Fast Charging (DCFC) Stations (Charging Stations) across the existing Salt Lake City Community College Meadowbrook Campus (collectively the “Bus Charging Project” or “Project.” These Charging Stations will charge a fleet of twenty (20) of Battery Electric Buses (BEBs) at the existing Meadowbrook Campus. These Charging Stations are to charge these BEBs with five (5) 360kW chargers with depot connections (cord & plug) configured and operated in a 1:4 configuration (1 charging cabinet to 4 depot connections) for twenty (20) connections total. The BEB electrical gear and charging equipment will be located along 900 West (east side of the road and on UTA’s property).
