Meacham Streetscape Improvements Project - Stage I

The Village of Schaumburg, IL will accept sealed bids via the Village's e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov ( https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/villageofschaumburg ) for 2025-IFB-035 , Meacham Streetscape Improvements Project - Stage I to be received no later than Wednesday, June 11, 2025 , 10:00 am . Bids submitted after the specified time will not be accepted.

The Meacham Road Streetscape Improvements Stage 1 Project consists of the installation of streetscape elements along the west side of Meacham Road from Progress Parkway to Algonquin Road, in the Village of Schaumburg, Cook County, Illinois. Streetscape elements include PCC sidewalk, brick pavers, landscaping, irrigation, lighting, architectural identifier signs and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown within the Plans provided. The total gross and net length of the project is 1,172 ft. (0.222 mi).

The contract will allow for 100 working days to complete the project which is expected to extend into two construction seasons. The selected General Contractor will need to properly coordinate the work with the Urban Street Group regarding the on-going Veridian Block 1 & Block 4 construction projects. The General Contractor shall submit their unit prices based on the assumption that this project will extend into two construction seasons.

This project will be funded under the 90N District Tax Increment Financing (TIF) fund.
