Solicitation Summary
Maryland Department of Transportation, State Highway Administration is soliciting bids for a contractor to provide acceptable standards for a front-load, heated, aqueous automotive parts washer with a vertical spray assembly.
The machine shall be automatic in the sense that no manual intervention shall be required during the cleaning process, “set and forget”. The awarded vendor shall be a Maryland-based distributor that is capable of servicing, providing repair parts, and consumables to the machine offered.
These specifications require doing everything necessary or proper for, or incidental to the furnishing of said unit. All items of design and equipment not listed in these specifications, but involved in carrying out their intent, are required to be furnished by the bidder, the same as if these items were specifically mentioned and described in these specifications.
