MDAR- The Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources is soliciting proposals for specialized seasonal invasive pest management services in Massachusetts. This RFR will result in a list of qualified vendors that may be drawn on by the Department to meet the needs of its programs. The following is a description of expectations, including criteria, data collection, permitting, and invasive pest control, to be conducted under this contract. MDAR is seeking proposals from contractors with extensive invasive pest control experience and entomological skills to conduct Invasive pest management in designated areas. The contractor shall provide a crew leader and a minimum of two crew members with experience managing Invasives through a variety of techniques, including pesticide application and manual or mechanical removal. At least two crew members should be pesticide applicators with valid Massachusetts pesticide licenses necessary to perform such work. See RFR Document for complete requirements of skills and licensing required to be eligible to submit responses to this RFR.
