MD Part C State Systemic Improvement Plan Evaluator

The purpose of this position is to serve as an external evaluator for the Maryland State Department of Education’s (MSDE) IDEA Part C State Systemic Improvement Plan (SSIP). This position has a special emphasis on survey and study design aligned to early childhood data and early childhood outcomes for children with developmental delays and disabilities. The Part C SSIP external evaluator uses state and federal evaluation tools to evaluate the effectiveness of the Part C SSIP team, suggest effective programmatic adjustments, and increase the capacity of Local Infants and Toddlers Programs (LITPs) and Public Agencies (PAs) participating in the SSIP to improve practice in response to high-quality data.
