MCTA Transit Facility - Additions and Renovations

Project Description: The Monroe County Transit Authority (MCTA) is expanding its facilities to support the anticipated growth of its operations. The project includes the renovation of the existing maintenance building with six (6) repair bays, the construction of a pre-engineered bus storage addition, and the expansion of the fuel island along with other site improvements. The upgraded facility is designed to accommodate a diverse fleet, including Fixed-Route buses, Paratransit shared-ride vehicles, Microtransit buses, and non-revenue vehicles. Proposals shall be submitted electronically via the PennBid Program and are due by December 3, 2025 at 3:00pm. On-Site Pre-Bid Meeting Date: Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 9:00am with a Site Walk to follow. A virtual option for the meeting will be available for those unable to attend in person, however in-person attendance is strongly encouraged.
