The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) intends to draft specifications and standards to accommodate a variety of design solutions and processes, and to encourage a broad vendor base.

MARCORSYSCOM is preparing draft MC-PD-24-003, SOCKS, COMBAT BOOT.

This notice serves as an invitation for industry to review and provide comments on the attached draft document during the review period. Comments on the draft may be submitted on the attached Consolidated Comments Form (CCF) with the document number in the subject line prior to the review period end date of 10/19/24. Comments that are not submitted on the CCF may not be considered.

Because this is a notice of the draft specification, and not a solicitation, any proposals for alternate products, designs or materials may not be considered.
