Description

The Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) is seeking information from qualified suppliers regarding a Mathematics Screener. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to identify math screeners aligned to the Oklahoma Academic Standards that fulfill the Oklahoma Math Achievement and Proficiency Act. Suppliers that meet all mandatory criteria for kindergarten, first, second, third, fourth, or fifth grades will be included on a list of approved math screeners upon approval by the State Board of Education, permitting school districts to negotiate contracts for the stated purposes. The screener data will be used at the beginning, middle, and end of each academic year to measure student achievement. The math screener will fulfill the requirements outlined in the Oklahoma Math Achievement and Proficiency Act by identifying students with math deficiencies, including those with characteristics of dyscalculia. These screeners will be administered during regular school hours and will inform teachers about their students’ math abilities and deficiencies.
