NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY – Invitation to Bid- Solicitation #F2024133/MAT-REBAR/EOC/2425

The City of Punta Gorda will be receiving sealed submittal responses at the Procurement Office, 126 Harvey Street, 2 ^nd Floor, Punta Gorda, FL 33950 from qualified bidders for:

SCOPE: The City desires to award an emergency contract for a contractor to furnish and deliver low-carbon corrosion-resistant chromium steel rebar; to the City’s Public Works Yard, 3130 Cooper Street, Punta Gorda, FL for the construction of seawall slabs, as required.  These slabs will be used for replacement of seawalls damaged in Hurricane Ian and future potential FEMA eligible events.

At the City's sole discretion, this solicitation may also be used to purchase rebar for normal operations i.e. non-storm generated seawall production.

Solicitation Package Protest deadline:  June 20, 2025at3:00 PM ET

Inquiry and Clarification Request deadline: June 25, 2025at 3:00 PM ET

Submittal due date and time:  July 1, 2025at 3:00 PM ET or as may be amended by the subsequent issuance of addenda. Submittal packages will be opened in public at 126 Harvey Street, 2 ^nd Floor, Punta Gorda, FL.

Solicitation documents may be obtained through www.pgorda.com – Open Bids for City of Punta Gorda, Title:  #F2024133/MAT-REBAR/EOC/2425.  Vendor registration is free.  All questions shall be submitted in writing via email to the Procurement contact.    The City will not address any questions/inquiries submitted on-line concerning this solicitation posted on www.publicpurchase.com , www.thebluebook.com or any other website.
