The FAA is seeking qualified sources to provide statements of interest in response to this announcement for the purpose of establishing a competition pool to conduct a simplified acquisition award process.
Please review the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and any other attachments to this announcement. Please note that all documents are considered to be in DRAFT format at this time and subject to change as a result of ongoing market research efforts. FINAL formats will be released at the time of solicitation for bids. Interested vendors are encouraged to provide any questions, comments, or concerns related to the requirements contained in the draft documents attached in their response.
The acquisition strategy for this procurement has not yet been determined. Set-aside of this procurement for Small Businesses (SB), SBA 8(a) program participants, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), or Woman-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB) may be established from responses received. Additional set-aside for local area vendors (based within 50 miles of the work site) may also be established. If interested in receiving a solicitation for bid from the FAA for this work, please respond to this announcement to make your interest known to the FAA.
The FAA's current intended procurement strategy is to award a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract competitively to the lowest price bidder that can be determined fully responsive to the solicitation. To be eligible, vendors must be determined responsible via verification of active registration in System for Award Management (SAM.gov), possesses no exclusions therein, possess no adverse recent and/or relevant past performance, and present low or no apparent overall risk to the FAA if awarded a contract.
The FAA anticipates a tentative timeline of the resulting procurement is as follows:
Acquisition strategy finalized: 2/17/25
RFQ release: 2/19/25
Site visit: 3/3/25
Quotes due: 3/7/25
Estimated award date: 3/14/25
