Place of Performance:
The Defense Logistics Agency-Aberdeen, on behalf of the Army Integrated Logistics Supply Center (ILSC) – Supply Chain Management Directorate (SCMD) – Strategic Sourcing Directorate (SSD), intends to acquire Parts to support the Load, Bank, Electrical.
Requirements Description:
The load bank is a piece of electrical test equipment used to simulate an electrical load, to test an electric power source. The load bank is used to provide field preventive maintenance checks and services of the Electric Power Plant (EPP III) on the PATRIOT Missile Defense System. The EPP III is the main electric power source for the PATRIOT Missile Defense System. The load bank is used on the 150 KW, 400Hz generator sets on the EPP III. The load bank must meet the requirements of the CECOM Purchase Description (PD) #”. [DT1] The PD can be obtained by writing via email to david.teicher.civ@army.mil.The current source for the load bank is US ARMY COMMUNICATION & ELECTRONICS CAGE: 80063[DT2] .We are looking for brand name or equal load banks meeting the requirements of the PD, at a minimum, which will also include load cables. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of this item is not available from the Army.
The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP) for the parts. The TDP is not available for release.

At a minimum the support information you submit should include, but is not limited to, the following types of documentation: Questionnaire (shown below), information on previous Government and commercial contracts, data rights, etc..

The information gathered from this announcement will be used to determine if responsible sources exist, and to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or set aside for Small Business. Furthermore, the Government will use the information, in part, to determine the best acquisition strategy for a potential procurement action and/or to assist in making acquisition strategy decisions in the future.
