Marine OECM and conservation analyst and coordinator

Oregon State University intends to contract for consulting work coordinating engagements and performing analysis for a project focused on area-based conservation in the ocean, including marine OECM's with Dr. Sangeeta Mangubhai as a sole source because of the uniqueness (design, capability, nature) of the services and the contractor being the only provider able to meet critical parameters or timeframes to support research and/or business needs of the university. The consultant must have an intimate understanding of the MPA Guide, experience with applying similar methods to marine OECMs, and the ability to provide methods, results, meeting strategies, and communications recommendations around this work as it relates to international policy targets. They must have previous experience with these analyses, as the current scope of work involves coordinating existing partners, equitably and inclusively expanding this group, organizing meetings on this topic, and performing an analysis of potential marine OECMs globally.
