March 2025 Dairy Bid for Blair County Prison

Project Description: Sealed bids will be received electronically via the PennBid Program by the County of Blair for Skim Milk items (pint and gallon size) only to be delivered to the Blair County Prison located at 419 Market Square Alley, Hollidaysburg, PA until 1:00 p.m. local prevailing time on February 6th, 2025, at which time the bids shall be opened with the results displayed publicly on PennBid. Bids submitted by any other means will not be considered. Bids will be accepted for review at the Commissioner’s Meeting on February 13th, 2025 and will be awarded or rejected in accordance with the County Code thereafter.
Electronic copies of the Bidding Documents including the list of items to be supplied and bid upon may be obtained at no cost on PennBid (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/)
Prices bid must be fixed for the 5 year term of the awarded contract, which will be effective upon bis acceptance, and end March 1st 2030. All deliveries are FOB the Blair County Prison, 419 Market Square Alley, Hollidaysburg, PA.
The Blair County Commissioners may award a contract to more than 1 bidder, but no bidder will be awarded the same products. In accordance with the same, the Blair County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality, omissions, defects or irregularities in the bids, and to accept and award any contract which, in its judgment, is for the best interest of the Blair County Commissioners. If one or more contracts is/are to be awarded, it will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder (for those items for which it is lowest responsible bidder) whose evaluation by the County of Blair indicates to the County of Blair that the award will be in the best interest of the County.
