Produce Consultant - The Metropolitan Area Planning Council invites quotes from qualified consultants to serve as a Produce Audit and Purchasing Consultant, assisting MAPC staff in the MGL Chapter 30B compliant procurement of fruits and vegetables on behalf of school districts in Eastern and Central Massachusetts. The selected Produce Audit and Purchasing Consultant will support the development of the procurement itself, ensuring compliance with DESE and other relevant standards; act as a liaison between MAPC, the participating schools, and the selected produce vendor; as well as the subsequent monitoring of pricing, invoicing, and broader impacts on the bid under the contract through reviews of spending and vendor audits.
