Mansfield, OH - Mansfield Lahm Regional Airport - Rehabilitate Runway 14-32 (23098)

This project consists of a mill-and-fill rehabilitation of Runway 14-32 (9,001’ x 150’), including runway overruns with a non-strengthening FAA specification P-401 bituminous asphalt overlay. The scope of the project includes the following: •        2-inch nominal bituminous pavement milling. •        Fill and repair encountered pavement cracks with an engineer approved non-shrink grout-type crack filler material. •        Grade correction overlay through the Runway 14-32 intersection with Runway 5-23. •        Pavement fillet demolition in the intersection of Runway 14-32 and Runway 5-23. •        Adjust threshold lights and MALSR threshold bar and install maintenance pads. •        FAA specification P-401, 2-inch nominal overlay placed in one 2-inch lift for the entire length of the runway and overruns. •        Runway grooving per FAA specification. •        Runway shoulder restoration grading, seeding and mulching as required. •        Application of initial and final precision instrument runway pavement markings.
