Description:

The purpose of the Request for Proposals is to obtain competitive bids from qualified contactors

for the rehabilitation of existing manholes within the City’s sewer collection system.

The City of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to

furnish all tools, materials, and labor necessary to complete the 2025 Manhole Rehabilitation

Project. The project includes the rehabilitation of approximately 20 manholes to be raised and the

application of 425 vertical feet of epoxy or polyurea lining. All work shall be performed in

accordance with the plans and contract documents developed by the City of Siloam Springs.

Information to Bidders:

The Scope of Work for the above-titled project is hereby clariﬁed and amended as follows:

• The City would like to add 125 vertical feet of polyurea lining to the scope of work.

• The City of Siloam Springs will only accept bids for a polyurea lining product.

• The City of Siloam Springs will allow precast section to be used for raising the

manholes to desired height. The manhole raised with precast sections shall be

sealed, using polyurea liner, within 5 business days.

• The polyurea liner shall be applied just above the manhole shelf.

• Vacuum Testing shall be performed in accordance with page 98 of the “Speciﬁcation

Requirements for the Construction of Water and Wastewater Facilities”, section T7 –

Manhole Testing. This document can be found at

The Contract Documents and Bid Package for the above-titled project is hereby clariﬁed

and amended as follows:

• The City of Siloam Springs will not be using an “official bid form” for this project but

instead will be accepting sealed bids in lump sum.
