2025 Manhole Lining Contract

Sealed proposals for the 2025 Manhole Lining Contract will be received at Edwardsville City Hall, 118 Hillsboro Avenue, Edwardsville, Illinois 62025 until 2:00 PM, prevailing time on Thursday, May 15, 2025.  Proposal will be opened and ready publicly at 2:00 PM, prevailing time on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Edwardsville City Hall. The proposed improvement consists of cleaning and lining of the sanitary and storm sewer manholes and all related work in accordance with the plans and specifications. Plans and proposal forms will be available at Edwardsville City Hall, 118 Hillsboro Avenue, Edwardsville, IL 62025 or can be requested at www.cityofedwardsville.com/bids . The contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILSC 130/1-12). The City of Edwardsville encourages minority business firms to submit bids for this project.  The City of Edwardsville also encourages successful bidders to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction. Upon award, the successful bidder shall be required to enter into a Project Labor Agreement with the Southwestern Illinois Building & Construction Trades Council, as specified in the proposal.
