Description

The anticipated scope of services will be to acquire contractor support services to provide a nationwide healthcare delivery system for United States Marshals Service (USMS) prisoners.

The USMS requires an enterprise-level, nationwide solution to manage end-to-end medical, dental, and non-network pharmacy claims validation, processing, re-pricing, and clearing for individuals in federal custody across all 94 federal judicial districts. A critical driver of this requirement is strict statutory compliance with 18 U.S.C. ยง 4006, which mandates that healthcare services provided to detainees be re-priced and reimbursed at rates not exceeding local Medicare Fee-for-Service (FFS) allowable amounts or state-capped Medicaid benchmarks.
