NOTICE INVITING BIDS PURSUANT TO PUBLIC CONTRACT CODE 22000, ET SEQ.
(THE UNIFORM PUBLIC CONSTRUCTION COST ACCOUNTING ACT)
Notice is hereby given that the Fresno Unified School DISTRICT (“DISTRICT”) will receive sealed bids for Informal Bid No. 1320-00175 , Malloch Elementary School Digital Marquee Replacement , to replace existing marquee with new digital marquee.
Prime Contractor must have a valid Class “C-45” Contractor’s License.
The time allowed for completion for the project shall be 160 Calendar days.
The Architect/Engineers’ estimate for this project is around $120,000 (estimate as of August 2025).
A MANDATORY pre-bid conference has been scheduled at 9:00 AM, September 19, 2025 in front of the Administration Office at Malloch Elementary School, 2251 W. Morris Avenue, Fresno CA 93711 . Contractors bidding as a Prime Contractor for the project must attend in order for their bid to be “responsive”. Immediately following the pre-bid conference will be a mandatory job-walk of the site(s). All visitors must check-in at the school office using our visitor management system which requires ID verification via government-issued identification card or driver’s license to receive a badge and enter the campus. Bidders may arrive earlier than the scheduled time to obtain their badge.
Sealed Bids must be received prior to 2:00 P.M. on October 1, 2025 on Procureware, the DISTRICT’s online bidding portal,after which time the bids will be opened and bid results posted.
Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or a bidder’s bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of total bids made payable to Fresno Unified.
Bid documents may be downloaded at no charge from the district’s bidding portal, Procureware, at: https://fresnousdpurchasing.procureware.com/home. All bids must be submitted through the portal. Refer questions to Marisa Thibodeaux marisa.thibodeaux@fresnounified.org .
The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or any combination of bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities which may be legally waived.
