Maintenance & Repair of High-Speed Overhead Doors, RYTEC & Other Brands

The Work to be performed under this contract may briefly be described as providing as-needed repair, maintenance, inspection, and upgrade of High-Speed Overhead (Roll-up) Door systems located at various MTA Agency and Department facilities throughout the City of New York. The MTA Agencies serviced under this contract shall include but not limited to New York City Transit (NYCT), MTA Bus Company (MTABC), and Triborough Bridge & Tunnel Authority (TBTA), or herein collectively referred to as the “Authority”. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, parts, and materials necessary to perform the Work. Door Systems shall include all pertinent components, such as operators, channels, motors, enclosures, switches, controllers, sensors, etc., including electrical wiring from the power disconnect. Prices bid shall be inclusive of all overhead, travel, incidentals and expenses. The period of performance shall be three (3) years. The majority (95% or more) of the Door Systems serviced under this contract are manufactured by RYTEC®, however the Contractor shall also service other manufacturer or brands of High-Speed Doors, such as Albany®, Marathon® (ASI Doors), and Dynaco® as required by the Authority.
