Main Tanks Transmission Main Phase 2B

The City of Kingman is soliciting sealed bids (Invitation for Bids or "IFB") from qualified vendors capable of providing construction services for the Main Tanks Transmission Main Phase 2B. Criteria for selection will be overall cost (to include taxes) and the ability to meet the allotted 180 days for Construction.

The IFB may be obtained by visiting the City of Kingman’s procurement portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/cityofkingman .

Bids must be submitted through the OpenGov procurement portal.

Bidders wishing to submit questions must do so through the procurement portal by no later than 10:00 am , Arizona time, on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 .

Bids are due by 10:00 am , Arizona time, on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 . The City may reject any bid not in compliance with all of the prescribed solicitation procedures and requirements contained herein. The City also reserves the right to reject any bid when cancellation is in the best interest of the City.

Mailed, faxed, hand-delivered, and e-mailed bids will not be accepted. Mailed bids will be disposed of, unopened, and will not be returned to the Bidder.

Hard dig is a concern on this project. A soils report has been provided for your reference. It should be noted that the total for hard dig change orders for the previous phase of this project from Stockton Hill to Wilshire were less than 5% of the overall project cost.
