Main Pump Station Valve Replacement

Sealed bids, subject to the plans, specifications and conditions contained herein and attached hereto, will be received in the City of Colonial Heights VA Finance/Purchasing Office, City Hall - 201 James Avenue 2nd Floor, Colonial Heights VA until, but no later than 2:00 PM EDT, February 27, 2025 for the Main Pump Station Valve Replacement in Colonial Heights VA.

A pre-bid conference will be held on February 5 2025, at 10:00AM, in City Hall Council Chambers, 201 James Ave -1 ^st Floor, Colonial Heights VA 23834. It shall be the full responsibility of all bidders to conduct a thorough and complete examination of the field conditions prior to submitting their bids. Failure of bidders to completely familiarize themselves with the conditions and requirements prior to submission of bid, shall in no way relive the contractor of the responsibility of performing in such a manner as to meet or exceed the intent of the specifications.

The project consists of replacement in kind, of three existing 18 inch knife gate vales at the City's main sanitary sewer pump station, located at 2701 Conduit Road, Colonial Heights VA.

The Pump Station Valve Replacement project consists of work including, but not limited to installation of:

• Three new 18 inch knife gate valves
• Bypass of sewage flows at the pump statin during installation of new valves.
