ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID
Sealed bids for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, skills, equipment, and miscellaneous items necessary
for the construction of the MAIDEN LANE LIFT STATION REHAB located in Hall County, Georgia will be
received by the CITY OF LULA, herein referred to as the OWNER, at Lula City Hall, 6055 Main Street, Lula,
GA 30554 until:
Tuesday, July 21st, 2026 10:00 A.M., Local Time
Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at this time and location. Bids received after said time and date
will not be considered by Owner and will be returned unopened. All bids will be evaluated by Owner and
the project will be awarded, if it is awarded, within 60 days of the bid opening.
The approximate extent and character of the Work is generally described as follows:
The project consists of, but is not limited to, the demolition of the existing pump station building, and
concrete slab.The project will also include installation of concrete wet well multilayer lining, replacement of
pipes, valves, and pumps (4 HP) within the existing pump station, installation of one (1) concrete manhole,
80 LF of 8" PVC gravity pipe, 458 LF of 4" polyvinyl chloride (PVC) force main one (1) precast concrete valve
vault, and duplex pump control panel with automatic transfer switch. Contractor shall also be responsible
for furnishing all other equipment and related appurtenances, including the electrical service, site lighting,
and water service. Contractor shall be responsible for the provision of labor and equipment or any other
item(s) necessary to provide a fully functioning lift station rehabilitation, as shown on the Construction
Drawings.
Bidders shall inform themselves concerning Georgia Laws and comply with same. NOTE: The Contractors
Affidavit for Electronic Verification of Work Authorization Programs form (E-Verify) shall be executed and
submitted as part of the bid package. Contractor's Bid will be considered non-responsive without
conformance to E-Verify requirements.
Bidding Documents are available for review and purchase by prospective Bidders. Bidding Documents may
be obtained for a non-refundable fee of $175.00 by contacting RINDT, Inc. by telephone at (770) 427-8123
or in person at RINDT's Marietta office located at 334 Cherokee St NE, Marietta, GA 30060 or by emailing
engineering@rindt.com.
The Owner is not obligated to consider a Bidder's proposal, if Bidder is not on record with the Issuing Office
as having received complete Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office.
The time allowed for Substantial Completion from the date of Notice to Proceed is 60 consecutive calendar
days. The project has a maximum time for total completion which shall not exceed 75 consecutive calendar
days from the starting date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond with good and sufficient surety or sureties approved by the
Owner for faithful acceptance of the contract, payable to, in favor of, and for the protection of the Owner

in an amount equivalent to five percent (5%) of the total amount payable by the terms of the Contract or, in
lieu thereof, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or cash in equal amount.
The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds with the executed
Agreement meeting the requirements of the Contract Documents and executed on the forms attached to
the Agreement. The terms and time for payment are set forth in the Agreement.
Surety and insurance companies must be listed in the Federal Registry of Insurance Companies Circular 570,
holding Certificates of Authority and Acceptable Sureties on Federal Bonds, be licensed by the Georgia
Insurance Department and the Georgia Secretary of State to do business in the State of Georgia.
All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the day of the Bid Opening, but Owner may, in
its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid security prior to that date.
Each bid must be submitted in a SEALED ENVELOPE, addressed to the Owner. Each sealed envelope
containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside as, "MAIDEN LANE LIFT STATION REHAB". If bid is
forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the Bid must be enclosed in a separate mailing envelope
to the attention of the Purchasing Manager at the address previously given.

Pavluscenco, sasha@rindt.com by Monday, July 13th, 2026 by 12:00 PM (Noon).
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive formalities, and to re-advertise.
