SITE IMPROVEMENTS

Sealed proposals will be received by Madison County Nursing Home, 1421 E Peace
Street, Canton, MS 39046 until 2:00 P.M., Central Standard Time on Thursday, May 7,
2026 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Proposals must be qualified under Mississippi laws and shall hold current Certificates of
Responsibility as issued by law.
The construction plans, bid package, bid instructions, specifications, addendum to
general specifications, project manual and construction drawings for this project are on
file and open for public inspection at the Administrator's Office at the Madison County
Nursing Home, 1421-A East Peace Street, Canton, Mississippi 39046. A copy of the
construction plans, bid package, bid instructions, specifications, addendum to general
specifications, project manual and construction drawings for this project may be
procured by the following method: download a copy from Madison County's website at
http://www.madison-co.com/bids.
Electronic bids can be submitted as a PDF file at www.madison-co.com/bids. Each bidder
submitting a bid electronically shall include its Certificate of Responsibility number as
part of its PDF electronic bid submittal. Any electronic PDF bid that does not include the
bidder's Certificate of Responsibility number as part of its PDF electronic bid submittal
shall not be considered. Additionally, all electronically submitted bids must include a
signed copy of the bid sheet as an attachment.

A pre-bid conference will be held at the offices of the Madison County Nursing Home,
1421 E Peace Street, Canton, Mississippi 39046 at 10:00 A.M. Central Standard Time on
Tuesday, April 28, 2026.
Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in an amount
equal to 5% of the bid shall be furnished by each bidder as required by the contract
documents.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities
and irregularities, to hold all bids for examination for a period not to exceed ninety (90)
days and to award the contract based on the best bid within said ninety (90) day period.
All bids shall be in compliance with and subject to Sections 31-3-15 and 31-3-21 of the
Mississippi Code of 1972 as annotated and amended, and in all case law pertaining
thereto.
