Bids for the construction of Madison Ave (US-166) from Arkansas River Bridge to 8th St will be received at the office of City of Arkansas City located at 118 W. Central, Arkansas City, Kansas May 12, 2026 at 11:00 am local time. At that time the Bids will be publicly opened and read.

Description of Project: Mill and overlay, pavement patching, and pavement marking on US-166 (W. Madison Ave) from Ark River bridge to 8th St.

The Bidding Documents consisting of the drawings and project manual may be examined and obtained from the City of Arkansas City.

Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the City of Arkansas City.

Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President’s Executive Order No. 11246.
