Mackenzie Creek Trail System Improvements - Phase 2B

The intent of this bid call is to solicit and receive formal offers to construct the following Project: Mackenzie Creek Trail System Improvements Phase 2B.

Refer to the Tender documents for additional information and complete scope of work.

-- Prime contractor must provide a valid standard Certificate of Recognition (COR), Small Employer Certificate of Recognition (SECOR) or a valid Temporary Letter of Certification (TLC) for a standard COR/SECOR, or a COR/SECOR Equivalency Letter (COREL) for out of province Bidders.
-- To be eligible for construction of this trail project, the Bidder must be a member of the Professional Trail Builder’s Association (PTBA) or have constructed a minimum of 15 kilometers of backcountry trails or trail related infrastructure in a parks or protected mountainous environment.

Electronic bids will be accepted until the bid closing date and time (“Bid Closing”) identified in the Tender Documents. Please read instructions carefully to ensure all required information/documents are included in your Bid.

Submit inquiries as early as possible in the bid period. If an inquiry requires an interpretation or modification of the Bid Documents, but is received too close to the bid closing time to permit issuance of an addendum, the Province may be unable to respond to that inquiry. Submit inquiries no later than five (5) Business Days before Bid Closing.

-- Provide bid security in the form of an electronic bid bond in an amount not less than 10% of the bid price.
-- Contractor shall provide security for performance of the Contract in the form of a Performance Bond for 50% of the Contract Price.
-- Contractor shall provide security for payment to claimants for labour and material used or reasonably required for use in the performance of the Contract. Such security shall be in the form of a Labour and Material Payment Bond for 50% of the Contract Price.
