MacEwan University is seeking a vendor who can supply and install one (1) new Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectrometer Instrument and provide training, maintenance, and ongoing support services for the University’s Faculty of Arts and Science – Physical Sciences Department. The instrument is required to support ongoing institutional research and teaching objectives.

The objectives of this RFP are to:
•        Acquire a state-of-the-art FTIR Spectrometer Instrument that meets or exceeds MacEwan University’s technical requirements
•        The Instrument must delivered, installed, and fully configured, with users trained on its operation and maintenance by no later than May 23, 2025
•        Secure comprehensive support and training that will enable faculty and lab technicians to operate the equipment confidently through training programs and accessible resources
•        Maximize long-term value and reliability of the purchased Instrument, backed by a warranty and support structure for maintenance and repairs
•        Ensure operational efficiency and user accessibility
