M548 Metal Ammunition Containers

The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Rock Island (ACC-RI) on behalf of the Office of the Project Manager, Maneuver Ammunition Systems (OPM-MAS) intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) W519TC-24-R-0028 for M548 Metal Ammunition Containers. This acquisition will be a Small Business Set-Aside. Proposals will be evaluated using Best Value/Trade-off Source Selection Procedures, resulting in a five (5) year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) award. The resulting contract will be fixed-price with economic price adjustment (FP w/EPA).

Estimated Solicitation Issue Date: 29 December 2024

The following are five potential Ordering Periods (OP) covered by this proposed solicitation:

OP 1: Award date – 365 days after award (DAA)

OP 2: 366 DAA – 730 DAA

OP 3: 731 DAA – 1095 DAA

OP 4: 1096 DAA – 1460 DAA

OP 5: 1461 DAA – 1825 DAA

****This shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or as an obligation on the part of the Government and is only a Synopsis for the acquisition and production of M548 Ammunition Containers ****

Technical Data Packages (TDP's) that have been marked as 'Restricted' will be provided via DOD Safe upon verification of the necessary information. Only the approved Data Custodian on the Form DD 2345 shall submit the email request. Please email the following information to the Contracting Officer and Contract Specialist:

Please allow 2-3 working days to process your request. You will recieve a system generated email from DOD Safe providing the necessary information to access the TDP.

CAUTION: Solicitation will be issued electronically as well any amendments there to. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder’s mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of the same.
