Description
|
This meeting will discuss an upcoming project to be advertised for bid in early 2026. Bidding documents will be available at the time of bid advertisement.
This is an informational meeting to discuss the project scope, available contract types, schedule, operational limitations, and material availability.
Agenda for discussion:
1) Scope of Work
A. Replace existing conduit to include, but not be limited to:
a) Remove all conduit on the Platform Level which have severely deteriorated. These conduits will be replaced with new fiberglass conduits to prevent future deterioration. New cabling will also be provided to replace the existing cabling.
b) A stainless steel chase shall be provided alongside the elevators on each side of the station. Stainless steel pull boxes would be located at the ceiling slab for transition to the horizontal section of conduit which will cross above the tracks. A sheet metal screen will be routed below the conduits to obscure the view of them.

5) Visit to project site

The Request for Information (RFI) may be examined in the 7th Floor Conference Room, 181 Ellicott Street, Buffalo, New York 14203. Copies of the RFI are available at no charge and shall be requested from Cindy Cirbus at 716-855-7342 or fax 716-855-7447 and can be downloaded from the Authority's Engineering website at www.nftaengineering.com. The RFI may be picked up Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., or sent via courier billed to the requester. Document Holders shall register “on-line” at the Authority's Engineering website at www.nftaengineering.com under this Project prior to obtaining the RFI.
