Luzerne County Raingarden for Operations Building

Project Description: ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID
Sealed bids for the LUZERNE COUNTY RAINGARDEN OPERATIONS BUILDING will be received online via the PennBid Program for the County of Luzerne until Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. (prevailing time). Bid results will be available online at http://PennBid.bonfirehub.com.
The project will involve the construction of a raingarden, two (2) pollinator gardens, a walking path, four (4) art pads, and four (4) wayside marker foundations all located at 1199 Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, PA a property owned by Luzerne County. The project consists of grading of land, installing an amended soil, installing a gravel path, stone and landscaping.

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The following wage rate requirements are applicable to this contract: Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form.
Bids will remain subject to acceptance for the period of 90 days, but Owner may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid security prior to the end of this period.
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held for this project on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. EST at the Luzerne County Operations Building located at 1199 Wyoming Ave, Wyoming, PA 18644 with a site visit to follow.
