Project Description	Subject to conditions prescribed by the University of California, Los Angeles, sealed bids for a lump sum contract from prequalified bidders are invited for the following work: The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the removal and replacement of all carpet and carpet pad throughout the 254 guest rooms located on Levels 3 through 7 of the Luskin Conference Center. The work will be divided into two phases: Phase 0 – Submittals and Procurement Phase 1 – Construction All work will be performed while the hotel remains occupied. Contractor will have access to only 64 guest rooms at a time. Contractor shall coordinate the sequence of Work carefully with the University’s Representative to ensure existing occupancy is not affected. The guest room break-out is as follows: • 3rd floor – 62 rooms (1 suite) • 4th floor – 68 rooms (2 suites) • 5th floor – 54 rooms • 6th floor – 36 rooms • 7th floor – 34 rooms (1 suite) The University currently anticipates that Phase 1 will begin no sooner than November 17, 2025, and will be completed by January 9, 2026.
