Lumsden Flood Control Improvements

It is WSA’s intent to post a public procurement competition on SaskTenders which requires an Engineering Consultant to identify and evaluate conceptual level design alternatives to reinstate the original design of Lumsden flood control channel and dyke.

WSA is anticipating that the SaskTenders competition posting would be active for a minimum of four (4) weeks to ensure adequate time for submission preparation in July or August of 2025.

Description of the work:

• Recent studies have determined that the Lumsden Flood Control does not meet the original design. A series of engineering studies, at increasing level of detail, are required to resolve the issues.
• Scope includes:
  • Project management
  • Site investigation (surveying, bathymetry, geotechnical, etc.)
  • Development of conceptual level design options.
  • Engineering & drafting
  • Cost Estimation
