Lumex RA915M Mercury Analyzer

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) intends to enter into an agreement with Ohio Lumex, Inc. to purchase Lumex RA915M mercury analyzer with accessories, calibration certificate and extended warranty.

The Emergency Response Unit currently uses this analyzer, which is only compatible with other Ohio Lumex, Inc. equipment. Ohio Lumex, Inc. is the only vendor for their compatible equipment.

Lumex RA-915M model is the most accurate and supersensitive mercury vapor analyzer that allows real-time mercury measurement in ambient and indoor air. Brand compatibility is essential to ensure that MPCA can continue using this analyzer for emergency response, cleanup and personal safety.

The MPCA has determined that Lumex RA915M mercury analyzer is the only commercially reasonably available commodity product.

This is deemed a single source purchase because Lumex RA915M mercury analyzer is solely distributed and supported by Ohio Lumex, Inc. and are not available from other third parties.
