The Minnesota Department of Education intends to proceed with a subscription to LRP Publications. This on-line reporter service for special education administrative cases and research. The database includes decisions at the administrative level for all states. It also includes guidance letters from the Office of Special Education Programs and the US Department of Education, as well as appellate cases. The use of this database is necessary for our division to meet its federal compliance requirements in special education under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Special Education Connection is the sole source of the unique combination of case decisions, statutes, regulations, and guidance documents, technical assistance documents on specific topics, news and guidance relevant to special education. LRP is a one-stop reference database.
