The purpose of this notice is to inform interested parties that Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, Maryland intends to issue a sole source, cost plus fixed fee (CPFF) Delivery Order under Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) N00019-20-D-0008 to Raytheon Company (RTX), 1151 East Hermans Road, Tucson, Arizona to perform all work necessary to implement and test the capability to launch Vertical Launch System (VLS) configured Tomahawk Block IV/V missiles from the Marine Corps LRF platform. The effort will include, but not limited to, formalizing requirements, developing and integrating code changes, executing software testing, supporting software release and supporting software safety analysis. The period of performance for this effort will be 12 months. The anticipated start date is September 2025.
The RTX point of contact for subcontracting opportunities is Jarrrod Winters at jarrod.winters@tx.com or (520)777-2697. RTX is the only known source capable of accomplishing this requirement in the required timeframe and without duplication of costs. RTX solely possesses the current configuration and manufacturing data for the Tomahawk Cruise Missile required to complete these efforts. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency. The data associated with the Tomahawk Missile is export controlled and is not available to foreign sources or representatives. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
