Construction of the La Paz County Animal Shelter
La Paz County is requesting proposals from qualified General Contractors for the
construction of the La Paz County Animal Shelter located in Parker, Arizona. The project
consists of construction of an approximately 5,000-square-foot animal shelter designed to
support animal housing, care, animal welfare, and adoption services. Construction shall be
completed in accordance with the approved construction documents, applicable laws, and
project requirements contained in the Request for Proposals (RFP).

www.lapaz.gov or may be obtained through the La Paz County Administrator's Office, 1108
Joshua Avenue, Parker, Arizona 85344.
Proposals must be submitted electronically and received no later than 5:00 p.m. (Arizona
Time) on September 1, 2026, in accordance with the requirements contained in the RFP.

La Paz County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive informalities or minor
irregularities, request clarifications, negotiate with one or more proposers, and accept the
proposal determined to be in the best interest of the County.
