Description

This contract is for the acquisition of 8,054 containerized mitigation plants. Contractor to acquire needed seed and stock material to grow in containers as described in the Performance based Statement of Work (PWS).





Habitats being mitigated for are Elderberry associate plantings and Shaded Riparian Aquatic with pollinator habitats. This is a supply-based plant acquisition and propagation contract for impacts to the American River Common Features 2016, Lower American River Erosion Protection Project 3B. The major work elements described herein includes; propagation, plant maintenance, and plant delivery from the nursery to the project site. Propagation tasks, includes, acquiring required seed, sowing, watering, weeding, and maintaining overall seedling health to foster proper development into viable container sized saplings ready to plant.
