Lower Alameda Park Electrical Improvements Project

Project Description: Sealed bids for the Lower Alameda Park Electrical Improvements Project will be received electronically via the PennBid Program on or before 2:00 PM prevailing time, Monday, November 10th, 2025.
Bids shall be opened immediately thereafter in the Butler County Controller’s Office, 5th Floor, Butler County Government Center, 124 West Diamond StreetButler, PA. 16003, with the results made available via PennBid shortly thereafter. Bids submitted directly to the County of Butler will be invalid and considered nonresponsive.
Plans, specifications, and bidding documents are available online at no cost at www.PennBid (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com). Any questions regarding the project must be submitted via the “messages” feature in Pennbid no later than Monday, November 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 21st, 2025, at 2:00 PM in Alameda Park at the Carousel Shelter at 197 Alameda Park Road, Butler, PA 16001. At the pre-bid conference, potential bidders will be permitted to inspect the Project location. All persons or entities submitting bids must attend this pre-bid conference. Failure to attend this mandatory pre-bid conference will result in the disqualification of the bidder from bidding to perform the work and their bid will not be opened.
Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in favor of the County of Butler, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid. The County of Butler reserves the right to waive any informality, defects, errors, omissions or irregularities in and to accept or reject any and all bids, or any part of any bid received. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days.
The estimated cost of this Project is more than Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply. Bidders will be required to submit an executed non-collusion statement with the bid.
