In accordance with M.G.L. c149, the City of Watertown is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for Lowell Elementary School Classroom Toilet Construction. Qualified contractors are requested to submit proposals to the Procurement Department, Watertown City Hall, 149 Main Street, Watertown, MA, in accordance with the instructions contained within the Invitation for Bids (IFB).
This project is being Electronically Bid (E-Bid). Bid Forms and Contract documents are available free online at Projectdog.com website at 12:00 PM on Wednesday June 24,2026. All plan holders must register or have an active online account on www.Projectdog.com to acquire documents, receive project notifications, and to submit bids electronically. Enter Project Code 875458 in the project locator box and select “Acquire Documents” to download documents.
Bid Deadline: Wednesday July 8, 2026, 10:00 AM. Hand delivered bids will not be accepted.
Prebid Meeting: Tuesday June 30, 2026, 9:00 AM at the Lowell Elementary School located at 175 Orchard Street, Watertown MA.
Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, or certified check, and/or a treasurer’s check issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid.
Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. The City of Watertown reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informality contained therein, and to award the contract as determined to be in the best interest of the City.
